Esmaltado “Ancestros” Ciervo Medallion

The "Ancêtres" collection was inspired by the Chauvet Cave located in Vallon Pont D'arc Ardèche, near my current residence. This Paleolithic cave is very special, it represents on its walls one of the most impressive samples of pre-Columbian art in the world, with paintings dating back more than 30,000 years in which around 14 different species of animals are reflected, i I collected 6 in this collection: The mammoth, the deer, the lion, the horse, the bear and the bison.

The animals were created from pieces cut out of copper, oven enameled, separating the legs from the trunk and then assembled with silver rivets, all the bodies have a movement and a different color on each side.

This Deer was designed with the idea of accompanying you as a necklace with a 950 silver ball chain and also as an amulet to decorate your space or to remind you of the inexorable nature of the passage of time with its very ancient existence.
